Posted in: Podcast Posted on

Episode 93

We revisit the original live-action He-Man movie, from childhood theater experiences and VHS memories to Toy Robot Video’s new 4K UHD Blu-Ray restoration and unearthed preview cut with additional never before scenes from the movie. We discuss Dolph Lundgren’s He-Man, Frank Langella’s Skeletor, Meg Foster’s Evil-Lyn, and how extended scenes deepen the characters and emotional farewell. Plus: practical effects, Bill Conti’s soundtrack, the Earth setting, and how the 2026 film has changed our appreciation of the 1987 adventure.
